My lady and I decided to stop by for lunch, place is always good! The Drunken Jalapeño Poppers for an appetizer are the way to go. She got the Cajun Pasta and I always get the Brueben with Sweet potato fries. Never disappoints! Would also like to thank a specific server... Meghan S. was perfect. Super nice and friendly, helped adjust our orders and was simply great all around. So thank you Meghan! Happy Holidays - Drake

Drunken Stuffed Jalapeños starter was a fabulous starter with plenty to share. We have not had anything bad at any location of Great Basin. We are regulars working our way through the menu. Join the loyalty program it's worth it. Always clean tables. Great environment.

Great Basin is your standard brewing company with a full service restaurant. They were able to accommodate a large party for us and provided good service. The food was a little slow to arrive but it was very good. The restaurant is nice and clean. Kind of rustic with paintings mounted on the ceiling. We had mini corn dogs, and zucchini fries as apps. The corn dogs were interesting as they are like a bratwurst. The fries were fantastic. For my meal I got the spaghetti and it was really good. I think it could benefit from more sauce as it was pretty dry. The icky bread was good too. Nothing special but was very fresh.

We had dinner at Great Basin Brewing Company last night. last night. The atmosphere was great, the server, Jamie, was wonderful. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband ordered the fish and chips. My only disappointment was that there wasn't very much seasoning on the fish. It was pretty bland. I added lemon juice, salt, and it made it a little better but I was still disappointed. The fries were delicious. There was plenty of food that we had enough to bring home for lunch. I did see our server take a big huge plate of nachos to the table across from us. It was big enough for a family of four. I was amused by this sign above the entrance to the bathroom area so I thought I would share it.

Food We opted for a bunch of appetizers to go with the several flights of beer we ordered. The appetizers: willy dilly pickles, kung pao brussel sprouts, battered zuchinni and stuffed jalapeno cream cheese were all good. The brussel sprouts and zuchinni were our favorites. The beer flight was incredibly helpful if you just want to taste several beers and don't know what you want. Service was good and ambiance was typical of a brewing place. Lots of parking. I recommend this place.

We stopped here for dinner and we're not disappointed! They had a very extensive menu with plenty of options, and the waitress was very accommodating for my unnecessarily ridiculous dietary issues. My husband got a beer and a bacon cheeseburger with an onion ring on top and he said it was the best meal that he's had on this trip. I got a side of a sweet potato waffle fries with a salad and chicken. The sweet potato fries were technically a starter, but the size felt more like a personal side. Perfect for me, but I wouldn't recommend getting them to share. The waitress was friendly and personable. Service was quick and the bar theming was fun. It wasn't too loud or dark, we could talk easily even when sitting next to the bar. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Reno!

We have been coming here for their grilled salmon with carrots and broccolini, but they took it off the menu, so we haven't been at Great Basin for a while. We happened to be in Reno, and we thought we see if there were any new items on their menu. To my surprise, they added a Salmon Bowl, and it is outstanding. It's a filet of salmon over brown rice with avocado, pickled ginger, edamame, marinaded carrots, etc. Great Basin always had fresh tasting salmon, and this dish is really refreshing and NOT a diet killer! We will be returning to Reno and this will be our first stop!

A Reno staple never disappoints. As busy as this place is, they are always accommodating. My personal favorite beer is the Chili Beso. The bar, restaurant and fireplace gives you a very homey feel. And we always seem to run into friends here!
